Heide and Mike came to us about a month before their June 8th wedding. Slated to be in the backyard of their Southampton home – they needed help! With the celebration only thirty days away, they needed a full rental package, a few key vendors and a plan. They had already secured the amazing Blue Door Gatherings and The Botaniste – so we were on our way to an amazing wedding.

When I first met Heide to see her home and wedding site – I adored her right away. She laughed, telling me, “you know, I would never consider doing this (getting married) again, but Mike is just the most amazing man, Everyone who meets him just falls in love with them.” These two sweeties were both just shy of their eightieth birthdays.

This gushing of love for her soon-to-be-husband was completely endearing and completely unexpected. When couples meet with me they are often, understandably, focused on logistics and color palettes. Not these two. Although Heide and Mike were not short on taste and style (check OUT her amazing scarlet gown), their main focus was on their love for each other. Their priorities were different and they certainly did not sweat the small stuff.

Even though we had a short time to bring their vision to life – their day felt like it floated on a cloud – calm and easy. A perfect mix of style and substance, their timeless choices reflected their sophistication and pure love for one another. We’re so grateful for the time we spent with Heide and Mike celebrating with their amazing family and friends. Extra big thanks to the vendor team who executed this celebration with a short turnaround. You all are rockstars!
